Takeru flees in the face of Meiya's kindness, and his own smallness. Everything here is insane.

Meiya understands why he came here when he tells her who this place is for.

Yuuko asks if anybody but Marimo died in the other world. Without the causality information of their deaths, nothing will happen to people here.

Takeru's arrival caused the Marimo in this world to die. Was this his punishment for running?

Takeru snaps. He leaps on Meiya like a beast, saying that he never wanted to come to this hell, when Sumika wasn't even here.

She's afraid he’ll refuse, but he doesn’t. Meiya smiles when her offer is accepted. Hopefully, this will help him feel a little better...

Why did this happen? Did she die because I changed the future?

It’s Meiya. The crazy rich girl has made it possible to go directly from her room to Takeru’s. Meiya also sees that something is wrong with Takeru, too.

After questioning, Takeru can’t even stand on his own two feet due to the drugs. He's taken by a medic to his room.

A sound echoes in the dark room. For Takeru, even the sound of a visitor at his door is terrifying.

A light stretches between worlds. A broken boy vanishes from this world. Feelings from the heart become words that will never be haerd.

“Send me home”, Takeru demands. Kasumi trembles in fear at him.

He thanks Jinguuji-sensei for caring so much about him. After their meal, he bows to his teacher. It's a scene you might see anywhere.

This is the normal life that Takeru wanted. But he still feelds upset. Because he knows how wonderful a peaceful world really is...

Takeru has no answer, so instead he embarrasses himself by trying to change the subject. “Weren't you Marimo's friend?”

He fell asleep on the roof. Meiya told him they should all try their best to get better together, but he's too weak to even move.

When Takeru talks about Marimo’s death, he makes it sound like its his own fault. Meiya gets worried and decides she wants to help him as best she can.

Takeru visits the physics prep room after school. Yuuko realizes that something’s wrong with her surprising visitor.

The victom was Jinguuji Marimo. She was attacked and murdered at the meat market on her way home. The body was stuffed into a meat grinder, and the head was destroyed.

Why? Why did this happen? She cries and cries, but the sadness doesn’t go away.

Yuuko stops Takeru before he can hurt the young girl. “If you wanted to go home, you should've come to me first.”

Shirogane Takeru looks far more exhausted than a typical Hakuryo student. Yuuko realizes it’s the “other” Takeru.

He’s on the verge of taking his anger out at Kasumi, too. She looks to him like a wicked creature who's keeping him trapped in this world.

Today they leave for school early. Chizuru is surprised that the trio, who are always late thanks to Takeru, have arrived on time today.

But her biggest worry is how much pain Takeru seems to be in. What can she do to cheer him up? She sighs, unable to come up with an answer.

Marimo's death keeps him from a peaceful sleep. The memories of death cause Takeru great suffering.

Takeru is relieved to see Sumika’s bright smile. Sumika notices that Takeru is again acting differently than usual, but her thoughts are interrupted by an intruder.

Takeru tells her its her fault for not being in her office. Yuuko tells him to stop whining that she wasn’t immediately available to meet him.

Yuuko leaves, saying it is better the two of them be alone. She seems to be misunderstanding the sitaution.
