Takeru fled the classroom and headed for the roof. Takeru is terrified that someone else might die because of him.

When Takeru talks about Marimo’s death, he makes it sound like its his own fault. Meiya gets worried and decides she wants to help him as best she can.

He fell asleep on the roof. Meiya told him they should all try their best to get better together, but he's too weak to even move.

Yuuko tells him to come to her immediately if he notices anything.

The Marimo in the other world died. Why would this world’s Marimo die too? ......Something was wrong. The world had gone crazy.

Why did Takeru come back? What happened in the other world? Takeru answers her question by saying that Marimo had her head eaten.

Jinjuuji is caught off guard by the way her student cries every time he sees her, but accepts him nonetheless. What happened to him?

Takeru says something surpriisng. He wants to talk a little more. Meiya smiles.

If only he’d thought of this possiblity sooner... Yuuko cuts off his apology and reminds him that he's a victim, too.

Meiya invites Takeru to go out somewhere the next day. She knew that 12/16 was important, too.

If nothing else, he knew that Marimo didn't hate him. But there's something more important to do than blaming himself.

He stalks through the base like a walking corpse, seeking a way home.

Takeru flees in the face of Meiya's kindness, and his own smallness. Everything here is insane.

Marimo comes in, too. Takeru came here to talk to Marimo.

She gave him the formula. They should have no more to discuss. Yuuko asks jokingly if he plans to take her with him.

Only after many tears is Takeru able to grieve over Sgt. Jinguuji's death. He calms down after Jinguuji listens to him.

Yuuko asks if anybody but Marimo died in the other world. Without the causality information of their deaths, nothing will happen to people here.

Takeru snaps. He leaps on Meiya like a beast, saying that he never wanted to come to this hell, when Sumika wasn't even here.
