Admiral Ozawa, in command of the operation, orders the 2nd Division of the Combined Fleet to open fire. This is a diversionary attack to lure BETA swarms to the western coast of Sadogashima.

Meiya is worried about Takeru's mental state. Takeru replies that he is fine now that Captain Isumi has given him hypnotherapy.
