Major Walken is enraged to see that forces which would betray humanity for their own gain have even infiltrated his own unit.

After the coup, they have a new resolve to do what they can to save humanity.

Yuuhi thanks Takeru, and says she hopes that what they discussed may provide him with a clue to solving his problems.

Meiya turns and smiles at Takeru. She looks just like she always does.

Takeru can understand Sagiri's love for his country, but he has something more important.

Whether the persuasion succeeds or not, it will make it easier for Yuuhi to escape.

Heading to Yokohama would bring them against the brunt of the enemy’s forces, so they’re ordered to head south to Shirahama Coast.

Takeru is terrified when he hears that the coup plotters are nearing Tougashima.

Orders are given for Hunters 9 and 13 to break through the enemy encirclement.

The F-22As saved 207, but from their speed, the enemy is probably waiting at Hiekawa.

The rebels tell the F-15E to stop combat.

An alert is raised again, and Takeru is stunned to see an approaching light that’s extremely close but doesn’t appear on radar.

207 now understands why they were deployed to Tougashima, and the importance of their mission.

Takeru says he’s worried about the Americans at Yokohama Base. Sakon says that dispelling those concerns is his job, and walks off into the darkness.

America abandoned their treaty with Japan. The rebels are clenching their swords with rage at them..

Tsukuyomi’s words make Sagiri realize he's done his part to save his country, but now is the time to atone for his sins.

Sagiri says Japan is too caught up in its role as the protector of the world.

Sagiri looks at the moon, with no regret for what he’s done.

Tsukuyomi tells Sagiri that his actions have caused Japan to awaken to the virtues they’ve forgotten.

Tsukuyomi tells Sagiri that his actions have awakened Japan.

Sagiri’s Shiranui unleashes a powerful strike at the Takemikazuchi. The blade is powerful, but fast, and the Takemikazuchi is pushed back.

Takeru is worried that Meiya might be upset she couldn't save Sagiri.

Mikoto is summoned by Marimo.

The Takemikazuchi and Shiranui ready themselves for one final strike.

207 and Walken's Flight are given an audience with Yuuhi.
