Yuuhi realizes what Takeru is doing and tells him he can continue.

Walken's signal is lost, and Takeru turns around to look.

Meiya doesn’t have a fortified suit and can’t tell what’s going on in the battle.

Takeru swears to protect all of humanity, and those that Yuuhi would protect too.

As Takeru remembers what she said at Yokohama Base, Tsukuyomi opens a comms channel to Sagiri.

A sudden round from Irma, who should be an ally, ends the persuasion attempt. Shirogane is attacked by two rebel Shiranuis.

Meiya says that regardless of what problems the government and military have, it’s the Shogun's responsibility to fix. There was no need for the rebels to shed blood.

Yuuhi, the Shogun, bows her head to an American officer and UN army trainees.

Miki weeps at the fact that they’ve gotten people like Irma, who fights the BETA for her family and her homeland, involved in a battle between humans.

After the coup, they have a new resolve to do what they can to save humanity.

Takeru and the other trainees are put in the front row as recognition for their efforts.

Chizuru speaks of her resolve at the grave of her father, the man who she was never able to work things out with.

The Americans abandoned Japan, turned Yokohama into a wasteland, and now they’ve pointed a gun at the Shogun... Sagiri's wrathful strike peirces the enemy of Japan.

Ayamine opens fire on Sagiri just before he can finish Chizuru. Ayamine makes her feelings plain, and yells to him in a plaintive voice.

Takeru stands on that hill, looking out on Yokohama.

They belong to different organizations, but if they’re all human, Yuuhi belives they all want the same thing at their heart.

One of the trainees appears before Yuuhi as she tries to go to persuade the rebels.

Yuuhi says that even when the rebels are put on trial and punished for what they’ve done, she wants forgiveness for their love of their country.

The older sister switches place with the younger for the sake of her beliefs. The younger switches place to protect the Shogun.

After hearing the plan, Walken asks Tsukuyomi if the Royal Guard is willing to go along with something so far from what Yuuhi wants.

When you find yourself hesitating, stop for a moment and have the courage to go back to the start. Don't hesitate to dirty your hands. Don’t look away from the weight of your duties.

Takeru quickly takes Meiya and retreats, with Tsukuyomi providing cover.
