In the other world, he was deeply involved with Marimo's death. And that causality information had an effect on Marimo in this world, too.

Only after many tears is Takeru able to grieve over Sgt. Jinguuji's death. He calms down after Jinguuji listens to him.

Why did this happen? Did she die because I changed the future?

He gave up on everything and headed back home to safety. He can’t take it anymore...

He thought he came to comfort her, but instead she gives him words that hurt to hear. “You are our core. Anything that affects you makes the rest of us nervous.”

In light of the situation classes are canceled. Meiya returns home alone.

Marimo comes in, too. Takeru came here to talk to Marimo.

Meiya understands why he came here when he tells her who this place is for.
