Yuuko's documents in "The Other World" contained clever lies as well as the truth.

The materials prepared by the other Yuuko included information on what to do if Takeru abandoned his mission and ran away.

Sergeant Jinguji gave her students these words: "Use your experience to help as many surface pilots survive, even if only for a single second."

The Valkyries members were all pupils of Sgt. Jinguuji. They feel a responsibility just like him, she says.

Takeru clears a space to deploy the transporter. Meanwhile, Yuuko is writing something.

Meiya tells Takeru that the living have a duty to make the sacrifices of the dead mean something, and that he’s here of his own will.

The students are all sad over the loss of the teacher they respected.

He's not listening to anyone, now. Takeru fires his paint balls at the BETA.

The rest of 207 heads to the hangar and goes to support Takeru.

Ayamine skillfully dodges attacks as she lures the enemy to where she wants them. A smile forms as the enemy heads right into the trap.

Usuki is there, and leaves as he walks in. He may have interrupted something, Takeru thinks, but he decides not to worry about it.

Before lights out, Takeru visited Captain Isumi's room to deliver some documents.

Haruko returns to the living quarters after the conversation.

After the practical training, it is time for classroom lecture. Yuuko gives the team precautions for escorting the Susano-O.

The primary objective was to neutralize Target 21. Preparations were steadily underway by the participating units of the Imperial Forces.

If the Susano-O is adopted, her little brothers won't have to go. It's selfish, but she still can't help but pray for the safety of her family.

Seeing Sumika like this makes Takeru realize that the Sumika he knew has returned. He tells her that she was the one who came to wake him up every morning.

"I was the one who woke Takeru up every morning…" When Takeru calls out Kasumi's name, Sumika wonders if her memories were just a dream.

For those who have nothing to do, getting some rest before the mission is part of the job.

Takeru isn't ready to kill her. But Yuuko tells him that Alternative IV is about to get to the point of no return, and there's no need to hesitate.

Takeru asks if there were any memorable events in "this world" between Takeru and Sumika that Kasumi has read.

Ayamine makes fun of Chizuru for being so excited. A fight almost breaks out, but the usual members intervene to calm things down.

Takeru can't sleep, and goes to get a drink. He runs into a comrade…

Takeru, still unable to sleep, catches some night breeze. When Captain Isumi asks him why he is fighting, he replies that it is to recover what is important to him, what he has destroyed.

Haruko said it was selfish of her to think first about the safety of her own family. But isn't that kind of the same for Takeru and Sumika?

Michiru listens to all the details of her confession. It might've seemed embarrassingly bold, but it might've been the only way to get through to someone as dense as Takeru.

The 19th, under Lieutenant Tsukuyomi, is under the command of the head of the Ikaruga family, one of the five regent families. They are notified that Operation 21st has been ordered.

Meiya took Yuuhi's place. She offered herself to Takeru to sooth his wounded heart. And now this is how her sacrifices are treated.

We will fight to the best of our ability for the sake of those who have helped us, and we will all survive. The force of our will shall bring in the future.

Takeru wonders why Meiya, a member of the Shogun's family, is no longer under protection.

Tsukuyomi cuts to the chase with Takeru. She wants him to help Meiya.

Yuuko hears his request. First, though, she has to take the things to the hospital.

Even if she doesn't die, her contact with Takeru would deprive her of his memory. So he shoves Sumika away again, telling her to stay away from him.

Takeru enters the school, taking one long good look. Sumika, who had just arrived at school, was also at the entrance.

They pass through the door at the deepest part of the building. Unless the cause that made Takeru a causal conductor is removed, he will have no choice but to remain trapped in the prison of dimensions…

The light from the transporter subsided, and the room, which had sunk into darkness, was lit again. Yuuko had seen this coming.

The thing in the shape of a girl is the "00 Unit," the greatest achievement of Alternative IV. This is the key to the eradication of the BETA.

The former 207B members need to finish training with the rest of the Valkyries, too. A-01's next mission is to serve as the 00 Unit's escort.

Yuuko was responsible for Marimo's death, and Sumika's brainstem’s death as well. Anger wells up in Takeru.

If the Orbital Drop Troops take the Hive, they'll begin gathering information. If they fail, the Susano-O will destroy the Hive.

Next, the Imperial Navy's marines will force a landing and secure a beachhead. "Whiskey Squadron" will land, and enemy reinforcements will be lured in.

A voice wakes Takeru up in the morning. He thinks it's Kasumi at first, but it's his beloved childhood friend!

The SDF will also participate in Operation 21st. Ikaruga orders his troops to prepare for departure. Tsukuyomi and the others are assigned to his unit.

Yuuko begins to examine Takeru. Takeru can only apologize profusely.
