The world is taking away even Sumika, who is more important to Takeru than anyone else. How much punishment will it take for him to be forgiven?

Takeru woke up from a desolate sleep and found his childhood friend, whom he had rejected and pushed away, there with her usual smile.

A basketball goal fell on the students in the gym class. Her classmates say that Sumika was beneath it.

"If I forget you, Takeru, I won't be me anymore! I'm only me when I have my memories of you!"

Even if she doesn't die, her contact with Takeru would deprive her of his memory. So he shoves Sumika away again, telling her to stay away from him.

Dear me - Takeru lives next door and is the most important person in your life. Read your diaries, and you'll remember him. You can do it! Read until you remember!

Takeru comes to school, despite it being closed for the day. He wants to talk to Yuuko about Meiya's missing memories, and what he should do.

Yuuko begins to consider that information about Takeru is beginning to leak out to the other world.

Takeru wanders aimlessly, suffering with the despair that he'll eventually be unrecognizable by anyone. His childhood friend easily finds him as he sits like a pebble at the side of the road.

Those whose memories have been drained of information about Takeru will not be able to recognize who he is.

Meiya lost her memories of Takeru after imagining all the fun they were going to have on his birthday. Yuuko tells him that the real worst is yet to come.

Sure enough, Takeru wanted to die. Living in this world, where everything he held dear was being taken away from him, is now nothing but torture.
