This is the normal life that Takeru wanted. But he still feelds upset. Because he knows how wonderful a peaceful world really is...

He couldn’t tell her about the other world, though. Marimo speaks, and says she wants to hear about what happened, and why he cried, someday.

He thanks Jinguuji-sensei for caring so much about him. After their meal, he bows to his teacher. It's a scene you might see anywhere.

Takeru isn't home yet. There was something she wanted to tell him, but she doesn’t think she can do it directly.

In the other world, he was deeply involved with Marimo's death. And that causality information had an effect on Marimo in this world, too.

Meiya says that Sgt. Jinguuji’s death wasn't anyone's fault. It was fate. What the hell is she talking about?

Marimo opens herself up to her student. Not as an instructor, or as a soldier.

The Gekishins try their best to fight back against the BETA horde, but their paint rounds are useless.

The F-15s are helpless against the BETA without real bullets. Takeru begins to shiver in fear as the TSFs are destroyed one after another.

When she was a young rookie, she had a baseless self-confidence too. It ended up getting all her comrades brutally killed.

Marimo tells him it’s okay to be a coward. That if you know fear, you become sensitive to death, and hard to kill.
