The Valkyries head toward the position where the Laser Class are located through the path that Takeru has opened up. Takeru stays to buy more time for everyone to pass through.

All preparations are complete. All that's left is to wait 10 minutes. Michiru is allowed to talk with her men one last time.

Due to the sensitive nature of the mission, communication will be only with subordinates. But still, the chance to be given a private conversation is a surprise.

Nineteen BETAs are blocking their path. Combat should be avoided as much as possible, but there's no time to waste. Takeru decides immediately to break through.

Captain Isumi immediately reports to Yuuko. She gets manual control of the Susano-O's engine and waits to activate the autopilot and destruct programs.

The alarm sounds again in the control room. An even larger BETA swarm emerged and has begun to head for the Susano-O.

What in the world happened? All they could see was that the BETA had stopped moving.

Lieutenant Suzumiya's voice announces the order for Shirogane to start moving.

When asked by Ayamine if his luggage is heavy, Takeru replies in the affirmative. He's carrying a heavy burden for himself, and the entire world.

“We've survived combat ourselves,” Takeru says to his comrades to encourage them. They all realize that it's going to be a tough fight.

After the training unit is disbanded, Takeru is told by Yuuko that he’ll be assigned to Special Unit A-01, serving directly under Yokohama Base Command.

Yuuko tells Takeru that his assignment will take effect after tomorrow's exercises. She doesn’t tell him what the exercises are, though.

Tamase is nervous as she gets on the stage, but calm and proud as she takes her badge and salutes.
