There were no bodies of Akira's colleagues or anyone else at the ceremony. The entire island of Sadogashima was obliterated by the "G-Bomb explosion".

Preparations for the blast are going well. Echo and Whiskey have evacuated. Takeru thinks that means Isumi and Kashiwagi made it out, too.

The tactical map shows BETA from all over the island heading towards the Susano-O.

Captain Isumi remained on the Susano-O, and Lt. Kashiwagi died in action. Hundreds have died today alone, and they were among them.

The Code 991 alarm rang out. A tremendous number of new BETA swarms were approaching the Susano-O from underground.

Lt. Suzumiya reports the battle situation. A brigade-sized BETA swarm has appeared on the southern shore of Mano Bay, and a corps-sized BETA swarm has appeared in the vicinity of the Susano-O, blocking A-01.

The BETAs approached the cliff top as if they knew the target was there… The BETA are blocking their path.

It was time to say goodbye to Michiru. The other members of the team were still waiting for their turn.

The Second Division's thrust succeeded in luring the BETA away. Takeru and Meiya are steadily advancing westward along the escape route.
