Haruko acts like the hit she took was no big deal. She's already made up her mind.

Meiya disagrees with Captain Isumi's instructions. TSFs are designed to function in a 2-man element, and without Kashiwagi, Isumi will be forced to fight alone.

The rear unit follows the route cleared by the advance team.

Haruko also saw hope for mankind and the safety of her family in the Susano-O's strike. To protect that hope, any obstacles to the mission must be thoroughly eliminated.

Cpt. Isumi had already considered and rejected Meiya's suggestion. The top priority is getting Shirogane out of the battlefield area, which means that Meiya and Kashiwagi should form an element.

Plan G Phase 2 will be finished when the 00 Unit arrives at the Mogami. Cpt. Isumi will remain at the Susano-O and do her best to restart it.

The enemy was just standing there. No one knew what was going on.

Lasers are basically unavoidable. If caught in the pre-irradiation, a TSF must cut off the line of fire before the main irradiation, but there is a limit to what the automatic evasion can do.

Lt. Suzumiya tells them that even more BETA are coming. Can they make it back from the island alive?

The alarm sounds again in the control room. An even larger BETA swarm emerged and has begun to head for the Susano-O.

Meiya offers to let Haruko board her TSF, but is rejected. Her job is to get Takeru to the Mogami safely
