Takeru performs well in the conversion training from the Fubuki to the new Shiranui.

If it's a mission, his teammates say, that's more important. They're worried about Takeru’s return, but send him off with smiles on their faces. He appreciates their kindness.

He's just a young boy, afraid of dying.

The Fubuki's acoustic sensor picks up that a member of Red Team is moving. It appears to be trying to move around behind Takeru and Meiya.

Meiya draws the one coming after them away, while Takeru watches for the unseen TSF. Chizuru faces off against the last TSF while moving into a position where she can aid the others.

Sumika tells a shocked Takeru not to let himself get too cold. The mittens he'd given her years ago are on his hands.

Sumika asks why Takeru didn't return her call yesterday. Takeru tries to avoid her, lest her memories be lost too.

From the gym where Sumika is comes the screams of another female student, and a loud noise, as if a heavy object had fallen.

Sure enough, Takeru wanted to die. Living in this world, where everything he held dear was being taken away from him, is now nothing but torture.

Yuuko comes back after visiting Sumika in the hospital. Takeru asks how she's doing.

She's asleep, and no visitors are allowed. Thanks to a major surgery she's going to survive.

Jinguji-sensei is dead. Oh, no, my head is all messed up. I've been forgetful lately. Maybe it's the shock.
