Alternative IV was based on the fact that the BETA did not recognize humans as a life form, information which was obtained through Alternative III.

The product of the Alternative IV plan was the 00 Unit, the only being that could be recognized as a life form by BETA. They were lucky to find the perfect body for such a plan.

Sumika's memories in Takeru's mind are all happy ones. If they can deliver a lot of happy feelings, it will surely help Sumika regain herself!
