Meiya asks Chizuru, the platoon leader, for control access of Takeru’s TSF, so she can give him a tranquilizer and calm him down.

The golden twilight shines down on the battlefield where so much was lost, and the shadows grow longer and darker.

He didn't want to die. But there was nothing he could do. He calls himself a coward who can do nothing but cry and piss himself.

Chizuru is at the PX to get breakfast. Lost in thought, she almost slams into Takeru.

Sumika and Takeru live next door, and talk like this all the time. Sumika asks Takeru directly why he seems different.
