With her work done, she is at peace.

The engine's self-destruct program is complete. There's nothing left to do but escape.

Takeru gets angry when Yuuko casually tells him about the two's deaths. But Lt. Suzumiya intervenes, telling him that Isumi plans to destroy the whole island.

Takeru's mission ends after hooking up the 00 Unit to a maintenance bed.

In the communications room where Yuuko is waiting, Takeru reports that he has connected the 00 Unit to the maintenance equipment. Yuuko thanks him.

Preparations for the blast are going well. Echo and Whiskey have evacuated. Takeru thinks that means Isumi and Kashiwagi made it out, too.

The BETA freeze again. They all change direction as if being guided by something. It's the same thing that was seen a moment ago.

Takeru lands on the flagship, and the recovery of the 00 unit is completed.

Takeru says that Captain Isumi will save many lives, and that she's an honorable woman. But Michiru says what she's feeling isn't honorable at all.

Only after I realized that I was fine the way I was... did I finally manage to connect with her on a deeper level. Take care of yourself.

Captain Isumi chose the best possible future. And there something that can be done for her…
