The Valkyries head toward the position where the Laser Class are located through the path that Takeru has opened up. Takeru stays to buy more time for everyone to pass through.

Takeru meets with Yuuko and says he's come to take the formula.

“We've survived combat ourselves,” Takeru says to his comrades to encourage them. They all realize that it's going to be a tough fight.

After the training unit is disbanded, Takeru is told by Yuuko that he’ll be assigned to Special Unit A-01, serving directly under Yokohama Base Command.

Yuuko tells Takeru that his assignment will take effect after tomorrow's exercises. She doesn’t tell him what the exercises are, though.

If only he’d thought of this possiblity sooner... Yuuko cuts off his apology and reminds him that he's a victim, too.

Who I was talking to? Marimo-chan... But she's not Marimo-chan anymore...

He stalks through the base like a walking corpse, seeking a way home.

His rage takes on a life of its own and descends upon the young girl, as if that’s what she wanted from the start.

Takeru's confused testimony matches with the evidence on the battlefield. Sgt. Jinguuji's KIA is confirmed.

After questioning, Takeru can’t even stand on his own two feet due to the drugs. He's taken by a medic to his room.

Why did this happen? Did she die because I changed the future?

Is it her family she's fighting for? She doesn't know, actually. Is it that important to have one thing that's a priority?
