The U.N. officer with him tells him that 207B Platoon is about to be disbanded.

Takeru sits in front of his destroyed Fubuki, unmoving. He was saved from certain death.

Takeru is excited to try the new OS against veteran Surface Pilots. The OS has a new navigator voice.

The unit feels like the new OS might turn the tide of the war. One of the veteran pilots comes to see them.

The veteran surface pilot leads Takeru to a dark corner of the hangar.

The veteran surface pilot asks Takeru to come with them. Something seems off.

Ayamine and Mikoto are concerned about Takeru's safety. Takeru tells the rest of the team not to worry as he follows the Veteran.

Why did Takeru come back? What happened in the other world? Takeru answers her question by saying that Marimo had her head eaten.

Yuuko's words bring fear to Takeru. Weren't you supposed to be safe if you didn’t die in the other world?

Yuuko points out he's totally reliant on her. She asks if he thinks she's a superwoman who feels no fear in the face of a being that brings death.

I'll never forget Takeru! I won't let him be alone! I'll always be with him!

Yuuko hears his request. First, though, she has to take the things to the hospital.
