Another group of BETA appears from underground near the Susano-O.

Suddenly, all at once, the BETAs stopped their movements. It was as if time had stood still.

The Second Division enters Mano Bay in assault formation. They take aim at the swarms of monsters that fill the land.

As it happens, I have an older sister that I admire very much. I actually developed a bit of an inferiority complex. For quite a while, I gave her the cold shoulder and actively distanced myself from her.

Lt. Kashiwagi's vital monitors are all flat. There's no response from her fortified suit, either. She died, melted to nothing by a Fort Class's acid.

Takeru says that Captain Isumi will save many lives, and that she's an honorable woman. But Michiru says what she's feeling isn't honorable at all.

Yuuko tells them that a change in the war situation will occur in five minutes that will allow them to move. Takeru doesn't know what's going on, and is confused.

It is a blessing just to be given a place to die in this way. For someone who has had many subordinates die and has been involved in the deaths of many people, that is enough.

Lt. Kashiwagi is forced to intercept the BETA group almost single-handedly. There are Tank Class and Grappler Class. But thankfully, no Laser Class.

Coming back to the Susano-O was the right choice. But there's too many enemies for her to fight alone.
