Preparations to flee are finally complete. Before he goes, he apologies. “I'm sorry I couldn't help you make memories.”

“Send me home”, Takeru demands. Kasumi trembles in fear at him.

Yuuko stops Takeru before he can hurt the young girl. “If you wanted to go home, you should've come to me first.”

Yuuko leaves, saying it is better the two of them be alone. She seems to be misunderstanding the sitaution.

Meiya invites Takeru to go out somewhere the next day. She knew that 12/16 was important, too.

She wanted to talk to him in person. But she wasn’t sure she could do it. But maybe on the phone...

Sumika refuses to give up. Takeru has no choice but to tell her the opposite of the truth.

"I thought everything was going to be all right, that this time we would be able to save the world. But on the day of that exercise, everything came crashing down."

"Marimo was killed right in front of me, and when I got scared and ran away, she was killed in "this world" as well."

Sumika was no longer the same person. She probably no longer recognizes Takeru as anything more than just one of her classmates. How was it that she had had so many feelings for him yesterday?

Takeru thought she had come to pick him up because he was running late, but Meiya says she doesn't know about the promise to go out together.
