Sumika asks why Takeru didn't return her call yesterday. Takeru tries to avoid her, lest her memories be lost too.

He'd thought that Sumika at least, would be okay… But now he realizes how naïve he was.

Those whose memories have been drained of information about Takeru will not be able to recognize who he is.

The park where the children play is tinted with dusk. It is about time for everyone except Takeru, who is a foreigner in the world, to start heading home.

Takeru comes to school, despite it being closed for the day. He wants to talk to Yuuko about Meiya's missing memories, and what he should do.

The purpose of Yuuko's visit to Kagami's house is to get the items she'll need for her hospital stay, since her parents are abroad and can't do it themselves.

Takeru picks up one of the diaries. He knew Sumika kept a diary every day, but this was the first time he read it.

Hearing Yuuko's guess, Takeru finally realized that what Sumika was about to say in that park was the truth about her diaries.

"Yesterday, I called you..." What happened yesterday was written in the diary too.

Even if he tells her the truth, or about the other world, Sumika won't understand. But she refuses to give up.

The joy of seeing Sumika refuse to give up. The sadness of having no choice but to reject Sumika in order to protect her. Takeru is tempted to turn around right now.

I'll never forget Takeru! I won't let him be alone! I'll always be with him!
