Yuuko asks if anybody but Marimo died in the other world. Without the causality information of their deaths, nothing will happen to people here.

Takeru flees in the face of Meiya's kindness, and his own smallness. Everything here is insane.

The students are all sad over the loss of the teacher they respected.

He couldn’t tell her about the other world, though. Marimo speaks, and says she wants to hear about what happened, and why he cried, someday.

The tears come flowing down, carrying with them all the thanks and regrets.

Preparations are made for Takeru to return to his original world. When 24 hours pass after Kasumi stops observing him, he won't be able to come back.

Why did this happen? Did she die because I changed the future?

12/16 is Takeru's birthday. Meiya tells him that he's not going to feel better staying at home, and suggests they go somewhere to celebrate.

Yuuko's words bring fear to Takeru. Weren't you supposed to be safe if you didn’t die in the other world?

Yuuko points out he's totally reliant on her. She asks if he thinks she's a superwoman who feels no fear in the face of a being that brings death.

But Takeru isn't ready to be saved. He’s worried that he might be the cause of someone else’s death...
