All over Sadogashima, people fought bravely to enable as many to make it out alive as possible.

Under the command of Lt. Hayase, the advance team charges into the enemy horde, determined not to leave behind a single BETA that could harm Shirogane.

Takeru is surrounded by too many BETA to survive. Suzumiya suggests providing support fire, but then his sacrifice will be meaningless.

Lt. Hayase has full confidence in Takeru's determination to continue distracting the BETA until all the Valkyries have passed through the corridor.

Their wingman is too slow to react to a Destroyer Class's charge. It takes fatal damage to its engine and can no longer continue the fight.

The question is how to get Shirogane to the recovery fleet's pickup point. Ozawa says he has a plan.

Admiral Ozawa was breathtakingly impressed by the work of Takeru, who was able to take on an astonishing number of enemies with a single TSF. Yuuko said that it was only natural for a machine equipped with the new OS.

While Takeru and his friends were fighting to the death, the Imperial Army's Whiskey Unit was in the midst of a hellish battlefield in the Mano Bay coastal area as well.
