12/16 is Takeru's birthday. Meiya tells him that he's not going to feel better staying at home, and suggests they go somewhere to celebrate.

I must have forgotten, because its in my diary! I'm weird for forgetting about Takeru. I have to be better than this!

Takeru had promised to go out with Meiya the day before. When he went to the front door, Meiya was already there.

Takeru, who sees no way out, tries to leave, but Sumika clings to him, saying that she understands Takeru and will not leave until she knows what's going on.

Takeru feels embarrassed remembering what happened yesterday. He gives Sumika one last "good morning".
