The main hatch of the Susano-O opens. The two prepare for the job that follows.

Takeru is ordered to stay on standby while a new route is found. He'd just finished getting ready to go at any time.

Takeru's diversionary tactics succeeded in cutting a path through the Fort Class.

Suzumiya is taken aback by Meiya and Ayamine's immense trust in Takeru. As if to prove their trust is well-placed, the BETA's loss rate increases.

Akira's is saved by Ikaruga Takatsugu, commander of the of the Royal Guard's 16th Battalion. His blue Takemikazuchi is solely for the use of the Five Regent Houses.

Things keep getting worse. The Flight leader goes to protect the wingman and is crushed by a Destroyer Class's armored plating.

Akira's colleagues were wiped out easily, and death loomed over the stunned Akira. On the battlefield, those who stop die first.

Yuuko instructs him to retrieve the 00 unit and leave the battle area. Takeru is concerned about what she wants to do with the Susano-O.

Takeru volunteers to bring the 00 Unit back himself, giving Cpt. Isumi more time to do the rest. Then an alert sounds.

Yuuko communicates through a secret line. She tells Takeru that all systems aboard the Susano-O are normal, but it's not accepting the reboot code.

After the 00 Unit is recovered, they are to fly low and get out to sea, then head North at top speed. That is Takeru's mission.

Takeru sees Sumika and reflexively rushes out and picks her up.
