The park where the children play is tinted with dusk. It is about time for everyone except Takeru, who is a foreigner in the world, to start heading home.

Takeru feels embarrassed remembering what happened yesterday. He gives Sumika one last "good morning".

Takeru comes to school, despite it being closed for the day. He wants to talk to Yuuko about Meiya's missing memories, and what he should do.

Goodbye for today. But for some reason, Takeru won't let her go.

Takeru woke up from a desolate sleep and found his childhood friend, whom he had rejected and pushed away, there with her usual smile.

The curse that Takeru bears defies ordinary logic. Sumika's memories will eventually fade away and disappear, too.

Yuuko comes back after visiting Sumika in the hospital. Takeru asks how she's doing.

When Takeru vanishes from everyone's memory, he'll cease to exist. Now he understands the truth of the other Yuuko's warning.

Takeru wanders aimlessly, suffering with the despair that he'll eventually be unrecognizable by anyone. His childhood friend easily finds him as he sits like a pebble at the side of the road.

Yuuko stops Takeru as he heads for the rooftop. She knew he was going to jump off the roof and make himself disappear as well.

Takeru grabs her, astonished by the change. A flash of purple lightning, a white blade gleaming at his throat.

Next to be introduced is Lieutenant Mitsuki Hayase. She makes a smart remark about how silly it is to assign a man to the Valkyries.
