Admiral Ozawa, in command of the operation, orders the 2nd Division of the Combined Fleet to open fire. This is a diversionary attack to lure BETA swarms to the western coast of Sadogashima.

The AL shells are intercepted by the Laser Class, and turn into clouds of heavy metal particles. Now all that's left is to hunt the Laser Class!

At the request of Captain Isumi, the fleet is instructed to change their bombardment target.

The BETA swarm could not be exterminated by bombardment alone. As a rain of shells fall, the Valkyries are forced to retreat to their defensive line.

Captain Isumi must be concerned about her sister, and Meiya must be concerned about Tsukuyomi and the others. Everyone is fighting for what is important: the future of humanity.
