But Takeru doesn’t understand how the rebels benefit from this honor or pride.

Komaki hears the last words of her dying men, and realizes that her job is done.

Major Walken suggests giving Yuuhi a sedative.

Sgt. Jinguuji suggests that if word gets out that the Shogun was injected with a drug, it will only increase Japanese hatred of America.

Komaki can’t hold back the Valkyrie assault, and is now the last one left.

In the Koubuin clan, twins are regarded as an ill-omen that can potentially split Japan. Meiya was given to the Mitsurugi clan immediately after being born.

Takeru had thought that Meiya was sent to the UN because it was her duty as a member of the Shogun's clan, but it was actually a sign of Japan’s trust for the UN, Yuuhi tells him.

Takeru is still hesitant to inject the Triazolam, but he’s been given the order. Before he can, though, Lt. Tsukuyomi stops him.
