He'd thought that Sumika at least, would be okay… But now he realizes how naïve he was.

Takeru woke up from a desolate sleep and found his childhood friend, whom he had rejected and pushed away, there with her usual smile.

Even if she doesn't die, her contact with Takeru would deprive her of his memory. So he shoves Sumika away again, telling her to stay away from him.

The curse that Takeru bears defies ordinary logic. Sumika's memories will eventually fade away and disappear, too.

This is for the best… It's better than being forgotten… No, no it's not for the best at all!

Yuuko immediately rejects Takeru's optimistic statement that even if people around him lose their memories, he can rebuild his relationships with them.

The destination is Sumika's house. What is he going there for?

"Have you ever thought about a future with me?" Takeru asks. Without waiting for an answer, he takes a step forward to give form to his feelings.

Like Yuuko had said, Sumika lost her memories in the same way Meiya did. The leakage keeps on happening.
