Meiya focuses her mind and tries to think about how to fight in the mock battle. Takeru’s mobility is a threat but puts a heavy strain on the pilot and TSF. That will be her key to victory.

The mock battle is over and Meiya’s team asks Sakaki's team how they were able to win like that.

Takeru is flustered when they demand to know how all of them were able to move like Takeru.

The reason they’re able to stay at Yokohama Base is that she was able to prove Kasumi could read Takeru's thoughts.

Takeru is grateful to Kasumi for keeping up that mental image of him.

Yuuko teases a confused Takeru, who hasn't given his report yet.

Kasumi smiles after succeeding at Ayatori for the first time.

More voices are raised in favor of a coup, but Komaki says they need to wait until the Imperial Army begins the evictions under the name of “rescuing” people.

When Kasumi comes to wake him up again Takeru is relieved.

Meiya angrily says that it doesn’t make sense to say you’re doing something for the sake of the nation while putting strain on the weakest of its citizens.

Takeru tells himself that now isn’t the time to go back to his old life, and gives Sumika back the shopping bags.

Relieved to see Kasumi sleeping peacefully, Takeru asks Yuuko a question.
