The Valkyries have the secured the launch point for the Susano-O's attack. They resupply while keeping a watch on their surroundings.

Commander Abe, aboard the flagship of the 2nd Division of the Combined Fleet, Shinano, orders the attack. Each ship under his command throws all the firepower they have into their bombardment.

Captain Izumi begins to explain their next mission. The main BETA group will reach the defense line in 14 minutes, and the vanguard in 10 minutes.

The canyon-like terrain is still there and open in a direction facing the hive. That makes it a good spot both for the Susano-O and Isumi’s forces.

A small group of BETAs approaches A-01 as they guard the initial assault point.

In preparation for intercepting the BETA swarm, the Valkyries gathered all the supply containers they could find in the area and built a defensive line at a nearby dam. They also request support bombardment.

Admiral Ozawa, in command of the operation, orders the 2nd Division of the Combined Fleet to open fire. This is a diversionary attack to lure BETA swarms to the western coast of Sadogashima.

The BETA swarm could not be exterminated by bombardment alone. As a rain of shells fall, the Valkyries are forced to retreat to their defensive line.

After converting to AL rounds, the fleet resumes bombardment.

Whisky Unit, composed of Imperial Army troops, launches for Sadogashima. Any that get too high up become easy prey for the lasers.
