Takeru swears to return to the BETA war and put an end to the cause of the causality conduction. As he vows to return to the path of thorns, Yuuko answers by flooring her beloved Lancia Stratos.

Sumika was hurt by Takeru's words. Even so, her feelings for him remain unchanged.
