Sumika and Meiya can sense the change in Takeru. It’s like he could disappear at any instant. Yuuko comes to talk to Sumika. She has something to discuss.

Meiya says that everyone has expectations for people who excel, and those people have a duty to live up to the trust placed in them. Takery gets even more upset.

Marimo's death keeps him from a peaceful sleep. The memories of death cause Takeru great suffering.

Takeru invites her back to his old world. But that’s just hypocrisy, as he seeks an escape from the insane world he's found himself in.

Takeru's arrival caused the Marimo in this world to die. Was this his punishment for running?

Yuuko asks if anybody but Marimo died in the other world. Without the causality information of their deaths, nothing will happen to people here.

He can’t go back. He’ll have to live the rest of his life suffering for his choice to run away.

Maybe someday that day will come... Takeru feels a little better after talking with Marimo.
