Even if everyone in the world forgets him, Sumika, and only Sumika, will remember him. Takeru embraces hope.

Takeru does not ask where he is going. He is completely desperate, and willing to go anywhere as long as she'll help him disappear.

If he lives, he could cause someone else to die again, so Takeru begs her to erase him from existence.

Sumika is once again rejected by Takeru. Did she do something to make him hate her? She asks him what's going on.

Sumika is blissfully unperturbed as she sits in class. She is so indifferent that she does not even notice Takeru's gaze. "I guess she really doesn't remember what happened yesterday…"

He'd thought that Sumika at least, would be okay… But now he realizes how naïve he was.

Meiya's eyes sharply fix on Takeru. To her, she's pointing her blade at a stranger.

Takeru wanders aimlessly, suffering with the despair that he'll eventually be unrecognizable by anyone. His childhood friend easily finds him as he sits like a pebble at the side of the road.

Sumika must have been in horrible pain. Every time she read the diary, she was reminded that she had forgotten something that should never be forgotten…

Sumika asks why Takeru didn't return her call yesterday. Takeru tries to avoid her, lest her memories be lost too.

Takeru introduces himself to the other members of the Valkyries: Kazama, Suzumiya, Kashiwagi, and Usuki Sakura.

Under the command of Captain Isumi, the Valkyries recite the unit's motto.
