Meiya lost her memories of Takeru after imagining all the fun they were going to have on his birthday. Yuuko tells him that the real worst is yet to come.

Takeru walks to the roof of the school building. As he walks, he's calling out Sumika's name...

Yuuko stops Takeru as he heads for the rooftop. She knew he was going to jump off the roof and make himself disappear as well.

Since anyone who talks to Takeru will cease to recognize him, he sits on a bench with nowhere to go. Exhausted and miserable, he falls into a dreamless sleep.
