Takeru leaves the command room and Instructor Jinguuji begins her briefing.

Ayamine hands Takeru the unopened letter. He reads it.

Takeru says that pulling forces from the defense lines during a battle to save humanity is stupid.

Sakon says he’s willing to use a relative of the Shogun, or even his own daughter, to further his own ends. This angers Takeru.

Walken says that the enemy will reach the Hiekawa Tool Booth, but can’t do anything rash while the Shogun is there.

Takeru says he’s worried about the Americans at Yokohama Base. Sakon says that dispelling those concerns is his job, and walks off into the darkness.
