Sagiri orders the fighting to stop, but things refuse to settle down.

Several hours pass and it's now evening.

Meiya’s first worry is if the people are okay.

Yuuko asks if there was a coup in the last world. Takeru answers that this is when Alternative V should have happened.

Meiya says that valuing the wrong thing will sometimes lead you down the wrong path. Takeru is annoyed and says this shouldn’t be their priority.

Yuuko says that America’s goal is to use the G bombs outside their territory and rule the post-war world. Undersecretary Tamase says he can’t rule out the possibility.

Takeru thoughts that Sagiri and his men were similar to Meiya in the way they cared for the Shogun and the people, but that was wrong.

Ayamine hands Takeru the unopened letter. He reads it.

The military and government didn’t care about the people they were supposed to be protecting, Meiya said. The coup plotters rose up to save the suffering people.
