Ayamine opens fire on Sagiri just before he can finish Chizuru. Ayamine makes her feelings plain, and yells to him in a plaintive voice.

Tsukuyomi orders the others to retreat.

Chizuru is defeated and Ayamine is weapong. Sgt. Jinguuji orders them all to retreat.

Komaki, injured, watches the dawn with worry in her eyes.

Walken says that they’re going to take Hunter 3 back to America to stand trial as a spy and act as a witness, instead of executing them on the spot.

The superior officer’s lock on Hunter 3 is undone.

Chizuru speaks of her resolve at the grave of her father, the man who she was never able to work things out with.

Sagiri doesn’t know who this pilot is. As he goes to take Ayamine's life, Lt. Tsukuyomi’s Takemikazuchi blocks him.

Walken is stunned to see his override broken. Hunter 3 heads after Shirogane again.

For the sake of his mission, Major Walken points an AMWS-21 at Sagiri.

Walken lost his witness, but he tells Takeru to retreat immediately.

As Takeru remembers what she said at Yokohama Base, Tsukuyomi opens a comms channel to Sagiri.
