Meiya's memory leakage extends to the point where she can't even remember what she's doing here with Takeru.

Even if he tells her the truth, or about the other world, Sumika won't understand. But she refuses to give up.

The joy of seeing Sumika refuse to give up. The sadness of having no choice but to reject Sumika in order to protect her. Takeru is tempted to turn around right now.

Takeru walks to the roof of the school building. As he walks, he's calling out Sumika's name...

Yuuko stops Takeru as he heads for the rooftop. She knew he was going to jump off the roof and make himself disappear as well.

Sumika was hurt by Takeru's words. Even so, her feelings for him remain unchanged.

Yuuko first tells him that Sumika is alive. Takeru probably thought she was dead, so her first move was t correct that.

"Yesterday, I called you..." What happened yesterday was written in the diary too.

Even if he tells her the truth, or about the other world, Sumika won't understand. But she refuses to give up.

Takeru deliberately uses harsh words to drive Sumika away, knowing he's become a walking disaster.

He'd thought that Sumika at least, would be okay… But now he realizes how naïve he was.

Yuuko immediately rejects Takeru's optimistic statement that even if people around him lose their memories, he can rebuild his relationships with them.
