B and C flights advance through the canyon, clearing BETA swarms in advance to secure an escape route for Shirogane.

Admiral Ozawa's plan was to kill two birds with one stone by helping both the Whiskey Recovery Fleet and the 00 Unit leave the battle zone at the same time.
