August 5th, 1999. Operation Lucifer. In the depths of Yokohama Hive, the only person to be captured by the BETA and survive is found.

The Takeru of this world lost his warmth right in front of Sumika's eyes. The heat of life had left his body. He was literally torn apart.

The product of the Alternative IV plan was the 00 Unit, the only being that could be recognized as a life form by BETA. They were lucky to find the perfect body for such a plan.

Meiya senses from Takeru's attitude that he is on a special mission for the vice-commander.

Unit 00 has reached a usable l level, so much so that the operational evaluation test on December 25th can be carried out without any problems.

Takeru calls Sumika. Sumika rushes over and does what she says. It was a little surprising what she did with her hands, though…

Sumika continues to flail about in Takeru's arms. Perhaps her mind is flooded with memories of when she was captured by the BETA...
