Phase 1 of Operation 21st begins, as the UN's Orbital Destroyer Fleet launches a bombardment strike.

A BETA horde travels through coordinates where no shaft has been identified. This has never happened before, and the troops can't hide their panic.

The AL shells are intercepted by the Laser Class, and turn into clouds of heavy metal particles. Now all that's left is to hunt the Laser Class!

The Type 81 Tactical Surface Attacker Wadatsumi changes from underwater navigation to land combat mode, and fights hard to secure a bridgehead for the landing.

Lt. Pyatkh reports on the location of Operation Code A-02, the Susano-O. It is currently passing through Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.

Admiral Ozawa understands that the role of the Imperial Army is to escort the Susano-O. He hopes that the sacrifices of his soldiers will be worth it.

After converting to AL rounds, the fleet resumes bombardment.
