The fact that the Valkyries aren't being attacked by Lasers indicates that their target is likely the Susano-O. The BETA have powerful detection capabilities.

Nothing can be allowed to happen to the Susano-O. To be completely safe, the enemy's Heavy Laser Class must all be killed.

Whisky Unit, composed of Imperial Army troops, launches for Sadogashima. Any that get too high up become easy prey for the lasers.
