Sumika is blissfully unperturbed as she sits in class. She is so indifferent that she does not even notice Takeru's gaze. "I guess she really doesn't remember what happened yesterday…"

It was Paul Radhabinod who'd told them that Alternative V was happening in the last world. The memories make Takeru’s heart pound fast.

Yuuko tells Takeru that it puts incredible mental stress on Kasumi to move him across worlds. Kasumi is ready to “observe” Takeru.

Takeru steels himself as Yuuko tells him this may be the last time he can go to the other world.

The golden twilight shines down on the battlefield where so much was lost, and the shadows grow longer and darker.

The BETA in the exercise area have been defeated. The corpses of the humans and the BETA are both rotting in the fields.

Takeru smirks and says it was harder than he thought, and that he wanted an even bigger win. Mikoto tells Takeru he's amazing.

The unit feels like the new OS might turn the tide of the war. One of the veteran pilots comes to see them.

The Fubuki's acoustic sensor picks up that a member of Red Team is moving. It appears to be trying to move around behind Takeru and Meiya.

The veterans ask Takeru if he's really the one behind the new OS. Takeru tells the veterans that exchanging information during the exercises is forbidden. The veterans laugh at him.

The veterans tell Takeru he's obligated to answer the questions of a superior officer. Takeru has no choice but to tell the veterans that yes, he is the one behind the new OS.

Takeru is relieved that Sumika has calmed down. He urges Sumika to rest again. Her fatigue from Sadogashima hasn't healed yet.

Sgt. Kyouzuka leaves without waiting for a response. Then Lt. Suzumiya calls out to him.

Haruko acts like the hit she took was no big deal. She's already made up her mind.

When asked by Ayamine if his luggage is heavy, Takeru replies in the affirmative. He's carrying a heavy burden for himself, and the entire world.

Isumi felt that Meiya was as dangerous as a drawn sword without a scabbard. She suggests relaxing like Kashiwagi does. But Haruko interjects.

BETA swarms continued to swarm endlessly from all over Sadogashima. It was as if the gates of hell themselves had opened up.

Suddenly, the lights at the top of the hall go on, and the door opens. The other participants in the meeting have arrived.

Admiral Ozawa proposes to have the 99th Punishment Battalion rescue Captain Isumi while maintaining the retreat route. Captain Isumi interrupts him.

The fleet is still in fighting condition. And in another 5 minutes, the mission will be successful. Cpt. Abe gives the order for a full-out assault.

Perhaps because they were in the lead, the two of them were late in decelerating, exposing themselves to a large amount of Laser Class fire.

The gravity field generated by the onboard Moorcock-Lechte anti-grav engine neutralizes BETA laser attacks, and the charged particle cannon destroys the Hive.

The Laser Class haven't attacked the TSFs on the ground since the start of the operation. Perhaps they're saving their power for the Susano-O?

The only possible reasons why the Susano-O would be a target are that it’s a flying object, its computer is the most powerful in the combat zone, and its main engine is slightly unusual.
